Sidney Crosby may not be shackin' up with Mario much longer! In an interview on ESPN.com, Crosby reveals he's been looking for house for over a year.  He says he isn't making a move until he is sure he finds the right one and was asked if his being "wildly superstitious" has anything to do with it. OCD would have been an easier way to say it =P.  I'm sure we will all eventually get to see his house and I can't wait to see how he "sid-ed" it up. How do you think his superstitious ways will influence his house? I can only imagine!!

CrazyBrohaKrew4Life has posted a Crosby spoof before, but this one is a bit different.  It is also very similar to the video by michigan422721 but you know what they say, copying someone is the highest form of flattery!

That's right, sir Sidney suffered a groin injury during the first period of an exhibition LOSS of 5-2, that's right LOSS to the Columbus Blue Jackets.  I'm assuming Crosby faithfuls will blame the loss on the loss of Crosby so early in the game but what else can you expect.  Although considered not a serious injury, Crosby says he will not skate Friday but will test it out Saturday in hopes of being back for the Penguins last exhibition game on Sunday against Detroit.  I for one hope Crosby gets back to the game soon enough, I have every intention of going to the game on October 8th and plan on losing my voice from booing him lol.

Some people sleep with a teddy bear, some people sleep with a certain blanket or pillow but no, not Sidney Crosby!!!


He goes all out and cuddles with Lord Stanley's Cup itself!! As I'm sure many other Cup winners have done before.  Who wouldn't?!  And if you look close in the upper left hand corner behind the neck, there IS a teddy bear too, so I guess that's who keeps him company while he sleeps when the Cup is not available lol.  I wish I would have seen this picture earlier! It's great lol

Well, almost.  No no not back to school season or Christmas, it's getting really close to hockey season!! And everyone knows what that means! Crosby news and abuse.  It's been a while since my last entry, hope you all have had a great summer! As sad as I am to see summer go, I am REALLY itching for hockey season to start.  Although this isn't a Crosby update, I'm going to tell you a few things to look forward to for this LJ.  EXCITING lol.  First, expect a new lay out.  This current one is very boring lol and the reason I picked it in the first place was because I am the kind of person who can never make up my mind with ANYTHING so after going through hundreds of possibilities I gave up and just went with this neutral toned theme.  Second, I'm really going to try to get to Pittsburgh this year for a game between the Pens and of course my beloved Flyers and I think that will be really interesting.  I will take a lot of pictures, try to get some video's perhaps interviews from fans, and maybe of me taunting Crosby seeing the reactions I get.  Though this plan isn't written in stone just yet, I really hope it happens.  Third I really hope to get this LJ noticed more, so feel free to spread the word!  And last for now, send me some of your Crosby stories! Anything you would like to share, the good the bad, anything you got.  Include pictures if you want as well, I want this LJ to be fun!  Ok well I think that's just about it for now, but be sure to check back frequently for your up to date Cros-News!

     Congratulations to the Pittsburgh Penguins for winning the Stanley Cup.  It was a well played intense series, but (sadly) the Penguins took the prize.  I missed almost  the entire game catching a bit of the third, and also glimpses here and there on the tv and got text messages while at work from multiple people keeping me up to date with what was going on and got bombarded with texts when Crosby got hurt lol.  Everyone wanted to be the first to inform The Girl Who Hates Sidney Crosby first I guess ;P. Crosby injured his leg after a check in the second period but returned later in the third playing very little.  *Sigh* I really hoped this.........

The REALLY annoying apart of the Pens winning is everyone saying how Crosby finally lived his dream. His dream? Only his dream? Was it not Malkins dream? Or Fluerys? Any other Pengiun?!?!?!?!? Or any other player in the league?!?! Nope, just Crosbys. That is totally UNFAIR to say.  Every other Penguin played just as hard, many even harder than he did for the Cup this series. And whats with this "finally" stuff? He has been in the league for four years, players go yeaaaaaaaaaaaars before they ever win the Cup, if not their entire careers with out winning it.  I'm sorry but 4 years is not long at all a wait for the Cup.  I'm guessing since he did "finally" win, there is no more that needs to be seen and the league can just shut down.  I mean clearly that's what everyone wanted, Sidney Crosby, 'the greatest hockey player that ever lived" to win.  I am so sick of hearing every one say how amazing it would be for hockey if Crosby won the cup...But why? Yea he is the poster boy of the NHL but given the choice, I'm pretty damn sure every hockey fan would rather their respective teams win the Cup themselves before they'd want to see Crosby win it.  That is if they wanted to see him win it at all.  Obviously majority of his fan base in Pittsburgh, there are just as many (if not more) Crosby "haters" as there are Crosby fan's, so in all honesty I have no idea how much of a difference Crosby winning the Cup is going to make in the NHL.  Or maybe I'm just missing something.


Ah man I so was not prepared for the Penguins to win but what can you do? Nothing lol and I'm not going to be a sore loser so again, congratulations to the Penguins and Penguins fans!

And on a happier note, now Crosby can do everyone a favor and shave his playoff "beard"!!! =D

    Sooooo the series now goes to Detroit for a game seven after Detroit steam rolled the Penguins 5-0 in game 5 and the Penguins won game 6 2-1.  Game five was ridiculous. The Penguins losing as bad as they were obviously had to let their frustrations out some how, and they did it by taking bad penalties. Game six I missed a nice chunk of due to Comcast freezing a FiOS commercial over the game on NBC. FiOS??  Above all things for Comcast to freeze on lol, and it happened more than once which was pretty annoying. Sadly though the Penguins won 2-1 which brings us to game 7.  I HATE GAME SEVENS!!!!!!! Yea it is very intense hockey but it is also very nerve racking they make me so nervous. Im really hoping this game sticks with the "home team wins on home ice" pattern, I'm just not prepared mentally for Crosby to win the cup. No no no not ready for that. I wish the game was on tonight though because I have work tomorrow and will miss most of if not all of the game.  Game 7 *shudders* excited but nervous all at the same time. GO DETROIT!!!!!!
